Learning Outcome Statement:
The RN will enhance knowledge in the area of Sports Medicine. Topics addressed for this conference include concussion management (a multidisciplinary approach), components of "Ready to Learn" for students who have sustained a concussion, best practices for immediate care of trauma and orthopedic injuries, importance of good nutrition, emerging splinting skills for school nurses, and spine stabilization at the time of injury.

TCU Athletic Training Program (BOC AP#10064) is approved by the Board of Certification, INC, to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 7.25 Category A/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program. Participants must complete and return the program evaluations in order to receive the statement of credit.
