Megan Collins, BSN, RN, helps patient families by sharing her story.Megan Collins, BSN, RN, began experiencing symptoms of dystonia while serving as a float pool nurse. In 2012 she received treatment via deep brain stimulation (DBS). In May of 2012, Leadership identified a unique opportunity for her to return to work in the Neurosciences Clinic. Now, she helps patient families by sharing her story, explaining how the surgery changed her life and how they may benefit from the procedure.
