SPORTS Rehab
The Cook Children’s SPORTS Rehab is a group of physical and occupational therapists who have been trained in pediatric sports medicine.
SPORTS Rehab provides coordinated and comprehensive care to children and teenagers with orthopedic or sports related injuries. Our therapists work exclusively with children and teens. They understand the unique needs of a growing athlete’s bones, muscles, body and mind.

SPORTS Rehab works with many specialties within Cook Children’s to provide a team approach to care. We work with: Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Nutrition, Neurosciences, and Behavioral Health.

Prepare for an appointment
Below are recommendations for how patients should dress in order to get the most from their visit.
Please wear:
- Loose comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
- A swimsuit or sports bra if your visit is for injury to your back or shoulders.
- Shorts if your visit is for injury to your hips, knees or ankles.
Please bring:
- Any equipment such as crutches and braces/orthotics.
- A referral/prescription, if the parent has it.
