What that means to you and your child is expertise you can trust. Our pharmacy provides medications and information to health care providers taking care of patients in the medical center, outpatient surgery center, clinics, infusion suites, treatment rooms, and procedure areas of the medical center and Dodson Specialty Clinics, as well as many of our medical offices across northeast Texas.

Medication checkup

For children with multiple conditions, it's not unusual to see multiple doctors. This sometimes means more than one prescription. It can also include specific over-the-counter medicines and supplements. Add in a special diet, and there could be a risk for an adverse effect. By reviewing your child's medications, Cook Children's pharmacists can help ensure that everything works together. We can also see issues before they become a problem and can alert your child's doctor if we see the potential for a problem. As part of your child's medical team, we're here to help them get better and get back to enjoying childhood as much and as soon as possible.
