When he got his blood drawn the nurses made sure he was distracted, they gave him toys, pacifiers, a lollipop, stickers they made the experience less stressful and very easy going. His doctor and nurse were very helpful they explained everything very well answered any question I had and gave me plenty of information to take home. I went in thinking I was going to be a wreck but the friendliness, kindness, and attentiveness of the staff made me feel very welcome. They made me feel that I have a good care team as I start this journey with my baby. I trust them completely and I am glad to be working with such great nurses and doctors. I could not have asked for a better experience for my baby.

I would like to recognize Dr. McCavit. He went above and beyond to provide exceptional care to my son and that means so much to me. Also would like to recognize his nurse Katie who also has went above and beyond to communicate with Dr. McCavit about any questions or concerns that I have. She even sent a message to me saying my child was in her thoughts during is surgery yesterday and that means so much. Both Dr. McCavit and his nurse are wonderful and are very compassionate about his care and that means so much to me.

This was the most positive doctor experience I have ever had in a hospital setting. I was completely blown away about the time that was taken by the doctor, the nurses, and all of the staff. We had to go to the infusion center, and the nurse took her time and explained everything before she did it. She was so kind and patient with my daughter. Everyone was so accommodating. My daughter even said she would be okay if she had to come back and get another IV. The hematology department and infusion center are run by the kindest, most competent staff. Every single person we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be there. I cannot tell you enough how much of a positive impact everyone made on me and my daughter.
