Meet Dr. Mark Urbanski

I was born and raised in Chicago, where I went to college, medical school, and did my residency. I have an older sister and brother, and was the first person in my family to pursue a career in medicine. From an early age I developed an interest in medicine and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

After completing medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, I pursued a career in pediatrics, drawn to the opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents during their formative years. Following residency, I moved to Michigan, to work for the University of Michigan, where I gained valuable experience practicing pediatrics, as well as creating strong relationships with patients and their families.

I am excited to join the team at Cook Children's Hospital in Prosper. I am looking forward to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where children and their families feel valued and heard.

In addition to clinical work, while at the University of Michigan I was actively involved in medical education for medical students and residents. I was recognized as an outstanding preceptor by the medical students for their Pediatric clerkship rotation. I have also presented a case study at the national American Academy of Pediatrics conference.

I am passionate about staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric healthcare and am dedicated to lifelong learning and professional development.

Outside of work, I am looking forward exploring all that Texas has to offer. I am an also an avid golfer, movie goer, and trivia participant.

I am thrilled to be a part of the community in Prosper and look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families throughout the region.
