I have always loved working with kids. During my college years, my volunteer and work activities all surrounded children. While in college, I found a new passion for neuroscience as well, and forced my institution to form a neuroscience major for me. In medical school, during my clinical rotations, I found that child neurology seemed to be the perfect marriage of my passions for children and neuroscience and then pursued residency training at Cincinnati Children's, where I was fortunate enough to work with the current leaders in pediatric headache. It was here that I found joy in improving the quality of life for kids through treatments that control headaches.<br /><br /> My clinical interests focus on primary headache disorders and chronic post-concussive headaches. I enjoy working with patients to provide the best possible headache management through proven methods and an evidence-based approach including healthy habits, the use of medications that can prevent headache and those that can stop them, and biofeedback therapy.<br /><br /> I am fortunate to be married to a very supportive husband, Scott, and we have been blessed with our daughters, Norah and Anya. They both help to make me a better person and a better physician.
