Meet Dr. Jonathan Gilmore

Family is central to my life and treating each patient how I would want my own child to be treated is the guiding principle of my practice. I grew up in a large family and now have 23 nieces and nephews and 2 (almost 3) kids of my own. Because of this, working hard to provide the best family-centered care possible for each child is very important to me.

My journey to pediatrics started after playing six years of minor league baseball with the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox organizations. After baseball, I attended Dallas Baptist University for undergrad, the University of Iowa for medical school and the University of Alabama at Birmingham for pediatric residency.

Every child's life is a sacred blessing which deserves respect and compassionate care. Partnering with families over the years to maximize each child's physical, mental and emotional health has been such a joy. I love the long term relationships which general pediatrics provides and helping families keep their children as healthy as possible.

I am lucky to be married to my best friend, Jessie, and we have 2 wonderful kids. Outside of work, I enjoy maxing out family time, reading, working out and church activities.
