Dr. Smith is also so good and easy going with my daughter. He makes her feel like his friend and own child. He's so sweet to her even when she has a hard time coming to the doctor's office. He never makes me feel like I am doing anything wrong or a bad mom - just gives different perspectives and approaches to try cause every child is unique

Our nurse was absolutely amazing! My son needed an unexpected blood draw and was hysterical. She was so helpful with brainstorming ways to help calm him down and get him prepared for the blood draw. She gave us time to get him calm and walk him through the procedure. She never rushed us and allowed him to go at his own pace until he was calm are ready for the procedure. Once he was calm she walked him through all the steps and did the draw with one quick stick. She very easily could have said he's too hysterical and you need to go somewhere else to get it done but she took the time to make sure we could successfully complete it in office and I was so grateful!!

Front desk staff was very welcoming, [...] was very kind and patient, and she did a great job explaining everything she was doing from getting blood pressure to giving shots. And my kids always enjoy coming to see Dr Smith!

Dr. Smith was super kind and listening carefully to everything my son and I had questions or concerns. For me, I wanted to make sure the vaccines he was receiving this time were absolutely necessary and safe. Dr. Smith is very kind and patient. He made sure that our son was heard and understood and explained everything with sweetness. Our son has autism and communication doesn't come easy for him, so it was nice to see him comfortable enough with Dr. Smith that he opened himself and communicated directly with him without the need to prompt him or explain. It was neat to watch him eagerly discuss what was going to happen during this appointment, for him and his brother. Couldn't be happier with this practice for my boys!

Dr. Woldu and Dr. Smith have been excellent. We truly appreciate Dr. Smith for being so thorough with his examinations and referring us to the specialty clinic where we met Dr. Woldu. Dr. Woldu was also so very detailed taking the time to answer our questions and explain any procedures that we would have done. Two very nice MDs that Cook Children's is blessed with!

Incredible! Was able to see Dr. Smith same day, in less that 2 hours from calling! Dr. Smith is able to communicate with our child not only about the issue we were being seen for but also talked about sports, which made him feel so comfortable. We love this office!

It was such a good experience. We had seen two specialists in regards to my child's diagnosis and treatment, and they had differing opinions on treatment. Dr. Smith was able to give us answers with thoughtful explanations that made sense to us with a time-line to check In and follow up. Nurse Cassandra then came in and also explained to my child how the new medicine would work and the proper way to take it. We were very please with our visit and could not reccomend Cook Children's Trophy Club more!

Dr Smith and the nurse that worked with (patient) today were so patient and kind. With (patient's) autism he is very interested in why everything is done and what different instruments do. They took their time with him and gave him the care he needed to feel comfortable.

Our nurse today was wonderful! I apologize, I forgot her name, but she slowed down and took the time to explain each step of the blood draw and was honest about the pain and process. (Patient) responded so well to her and was super interested in each step. She even said "this is so fun" during.
