I attended UT Austin and then went to medical school at UTMB in Galveston. It was at UTMB where I decided to pursue a career in Pediatrics during my 3rd year. One of the main reasons for choosing Pediatrics was because you can make a huge impact in a young person's life. I enjoy treating my patients and seeing them improve.<br /><br /> Galveston is also special to me since I met my wife at UTMB. We liked the coastal area so much that we moved to Corpus Christi. We were in Corpus for 5 years and 2 of those years I was an emergency room Pediatrician at Driscoll Children's Hospital. We moved to the Austin area once we started having a family of our own. We opened our own practice in Round Rock which we had for 17 years but had to close it due to COVID-19. For the past 3 years I worked at Austin Region Clinic in Pflugerville.<br /><br /> I have been practicing Pediatrics for 25 years. I treat patients from birth to 18 years of age.
