Rebecca Neander, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Becky Neander is an advanced practice nurse in the Developmental Pediatric Department at the Child Study Center. She holds a certification from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Ms. Neander earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 1993, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000. Ms. Neander has 23 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with 16 years spent as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She spent four years in the Neurosurgery Department at Children’s Health in Dallas before moving to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital also in Dallas, where she worked in the Developmental Disabilities Department for 12 years. Ms. Neander’s focus there was on children with both developmental disabilities as well as spina bifida. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Becky is also a member of the Cook Children's Physician Network.

Margaret T. Dempsey, Ph.D.

Margaret Dempsey, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who joined the Child Study Center in 2007. She graduated with her doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Dempsey completed her internship year in the Pediatric Psychology program at Michigan State University. Afterwards, she was an assistant professor at Tulane University for five years. Her work at the Child Study Center focuses on the evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with learning disabilities, attention difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Dempsey has also provided clinical supervision for pre-and post-doctoral students.
Dr. Dempsey is a 2014 WPS 65th Anniversary Unlocking Potential Award recipient. She was recognized not only for her fifteen years of service to children and families in North Texas, but also for her high degree of professionalism, highly individualized approach to testing and treatment planning, constant pursuit of up-to-date measures and testing procedures and for her unwavering dedication to her clients.
Tracy L. Harrington, Ph.D.

Tracy Harrington, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who joined the Child Study Center in 2009. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Oklahoma State University and her Master of Arts degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tulsa. Dr. Harrington completed her child and pediatric clinical internship and a one year fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her training sites included the Civitan-Sparks Interdisciplinary Clinics, a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) and University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities training site (UCEDD), and Children's of Alabama. While in graduate school, Dr. Harrington was awarded the Scientist Practitioner Award in recognition of her work in meeting the ideas of the scientist practitioner model of psychology training and practice.
Dr. Harrington's work at the Child Study Center primarily includes the evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning differences, attention difficulties, disruptive disorders, and mild mood issues. She enjoys providing evidence based therapy to families, such as behavior management training, to parents of young children with disruptive behaviors. Dr. Harrington regularly works with students and families from the Jane Justin School and the Autism Services program. In addition, she provides psychological consultative services to Developmental Pediatrics and to the Genetic Down Syndrome Clinic.
Amanda Moen, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Amanda Moen, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who joined Child Study Center in 2022. She completed her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctorate in School Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Moen completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute. Afterward, she worked as a clinical child psychologist in the Behavior Management Clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. At Kennedy Krieger, she performed therapy in both individual and group settings, and provided assistance in the training of clinical interns and postdoctoral fellows. While in graduate school, Dr. Moen was named as a Buffett Early Childhood Institute Scholar, and received grants for dissertation research from both the Buffett Early Childhood Institute and the Society for the Study of School Psychology.
Dr. Moen’s work at the Child Study Center includes evaluation and delivery of evidence-based treatment, primarily via Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and behavioral parent training. She specializes in working with children 2-10 years of age with disruptive behavior (noncompliance, tantrums, mild to moderate physical aggression), ADHD, ODD, anxiety, sleep concerns, toileting concerns, tics (using CBIT), and developmental concerns.

Duy D. Le, BCBA

Duy Le, BCBA, became the Director of Applied Behavior Analysis and Education in 2014. He is responsible for directing and overseeing the Autism Services Department, Behavior Disorders Clinic, and Jane Justin School.
Previously, Duy served as Director of Applied Behavior Analysis Services where he provided behavior analytic services and designed specialized treatment for children with developmental disabilities. He holds the Rector Family Chair in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to joining the Child Study Center, he was a program manager for an interdisciplinary treatment team serving children and adolescents in a psychiatric hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. Le received a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Duy is certified by Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. He served as a Council Member for the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis (TxABA) and is a member of the International Association for Behavior Analysis. In addition, he is published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has served as a guest reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Jack B. Morris Chair in Education
Tracie Mann, Ph.D., LBA, joined Jane Justin School in 2012 as a Behavior Analyst where she provided behavior analytic services and designed specialized education for children with developmental and learning differences. She was appointed Interim Director of Jane Justin School in January 2014 until the completion of her Ph.D. in June 2014 when she was offered the permanent position of Director. Prior to joining Child Study Center, Dr. Mann served as a Lead Teacher and Principal of Century School in Lawrence, Kansas until 2007. Following the completion of her Master's degree, Dr. Mann opened the Kansas City Child Learning Center in partnership with the Kansas City Autism Training Center to serve preschool aged children with and without developmental and learning disabilities.
Dr. Mann received her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from University of Kansas under Drs. Edward Morris and Greg Hanley. She also obtained her M.A. in Human Development and B.A. in Human Development and Family Life from University of Kansas.
