Onesies, rompers, footed sleep-and-plays, soft cotton outfits, pull-on pants, leggings, baby t-shirts, etc. Layette sets are a really good option since most everything you need for baby’s first journey comes all packaged together (and they’re fun to shop for).</p> <ul class="marginRight"> <li>Outfit (onesie, layette set, etc…</li> <li>Newborn socks</li> <li>Cap - soft, cotton knit caps are easy to put on</li> </ul> <h2>Supplies</h2> <p>Extras you may need while staying in the hopital, and for going home. Also, if you live far from the hospital or birthing center, you might want to pack extra supplies.</p> <ul class="marginRight"> <li>Baby blanket which you can use while breastfeeding, during skin-to-skin contact with your baby, and for bundling up for the ride home.
