Appointment and visitation policy:

Time sensitive, emergent and urgent cases will still take place. Parents and guardians will be contacted if their child’s appointment/procedure needs to be rescheduled.

A maximum of one primary caregiver will be allowed per patient, per visit inside Cook Children’s pediatric specialties. Please designate the primary caregiver who will go into the room with your child upon arrival.

  • NO WALK INS. Please call for an appointment and we will help you.

Masks:

Parents and families, as we continue to follow the recommendations from the CDC, if you have an appointment at our Dodson clinic, our urgent care centers, or any of our other clinics or primary care offices, please bring and wear your own cloth face covering from home. Learn how to make your own cloth face covering or mask here. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.

At Cook Children's, we know that treating kids with renal conditions is very different than caring for adults. Our Nephrology team specializes in meeting the specific needs of infants, children and teens with kidney-related problems. Whether your child needs inpatient care, outpatient care, dialysis or even kidney transplantation, you'll find that our focus is always on the one child, the one family, that matters most — yours.
